xfce 4.12 tarda mucho en apagar

Hola.

Desde este lunes, al intentar apagar mi ordenador desde  xfce4 - session, el equipo tarda más de un minuto en apagarse. Anteriormente no había ningún problema, y el apagado era poco menos que automático.

Por si sirve de algo, hace unos 15 días intenté apañar el tearing de mi ordenador, siguiendo este tutorial: https://sn0v.wordpress.com/2013/12/17/solve-video-tearing-on-intel-ubuntu-xfce-4/

No creo que tenga nada que ver, ya que los problemas han surgido en los últimos días, y ya os indico que esas modificaciones las hice hace más de 15 días.

Mi ordenador es un portátil dell, con debian y xfce4 de 64 bits.

Supongo que en tui caso estamos ante un proceso que, por alguna razon no se cierra, haciendo que systemd espere 90 segundos antes de matar el proceso o intentar hacerlo.

Podrias poner el contenido de los siguientes comandos para ver si encontramos algún problema

su
journal -b -p err
cat '/var/log/Xorg.0.log' | grep EE

systemctl --failed
systemd-analyze
systemd-analyze blame

Como puedes ver, el primer comando no arroja nada, ya que me indica que la orden no existe. ¡Quizás es journalctl -b -p err?

si era journalctl cheeky
sobre el error de systemd-udevd[232]: Specified group 'pcscd' unknown hay un bug reportado del 2014 de https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=747905
por lo que entiendo , en los comentarios del reporte le piden hacer un

grep pcscd /lib/udev/rules.d/*

y dan que el que causa el problema es libifd-cyberjack6, podrías fijarte
 

Una "solución" paleativa, mientras se descubre cual es el servicio que esta dando problemas, podria ser de disminuir el tiempo de espera de systemd para matar un proceso que no quiere cerrarse a la hora del apagado

su
nano /etc/systemd/system.conf

buscar la linea

#DefaultTimeoutStopSec=90s

y dejarla:

DefaultTimeoutStopSec=9s

En los casos estos que tarda tanto systemd en apagar el equipo ¿pone unas letras en rojo  [****] ? ¿pone algún nombre de programa?

La línea que me pides que modifique ya la había cambiado hace tiempo, con 10 segundos en vez de 9, pero vamos, es lo mismo. (a stop job is running...).

Por último, creo que no me expliqué bien: El problema es sólo cuando uso el diálogo de cierre de sesión. Si utilizo la terminal, no hay ningún problema, y el cierre es normal ( o las otras opciones). Yo creo que "algo" traba este diálogo. No sé dónde  se encuentra el archivo de configuración de este diálogo, a lo mejor ahí habría algo.

tenes 92-libacr38u.rules que esta provisto por libacr38u el cual se encuentra en los repositorios de jessie o en sid (pero para arquitectura arm) y 92-libccid.rules el cual esta provisto por libccid que si esta en testing

Por alguna razón el paquete libacr38u (un driver para ACR38U smart card reader) no ha llegado a debian 9 ni a testing, salvo que haya sido incorporado dentro de otro paquete de controladores. Posiblemente esto es lo que este causando el conflicto y  el retraso a la hora del cierre del pc, se me ocurre que pruebes de eliminarlo https://www.howtoinstall.co/es/debian/stretch/libacr38u?action=remove
 

También podrias fijarte que tira upower no se si xfce4-power-manager tiene algún servicio especial

Puedes revisar el log completo, incluyento el de apagado, con el comando

journalctl -b -1 --no-pager

Ojo, esto te mostrará todo el log, desde el inicio de la máquina hasta el apagado del tirón, no habrá pausa. Una vez lo tengas, empieza por el final hasta que veas el momento en que hay un salto de tiempo. Ese salto de tiempo será el momento en que se demora tanto el apagado. Con un poco de suerte podremos ver si nombra el proceso. El -1 indica que quieres mostrar el boot anterior, no el actual.

  No hay bar que por bien no venga....

Respecto al aspecto de los controladores de las tarjetas, ¿debo eliminar entonces el paquete libacr38u? Si lo desinstalo, igual no me funciona el lector del DNIe.

No te sabría decir si el paquete libacr38u tiene un reemplazo, etc. ya que Debian no da información. Viendo https://wiki.debian.org/Smartcards entendería que para ACS ACR38U or ACR38T está el paquete es libacsccid1 aunque parece que es para usb.

sobre el problema que te pone con el comando que te da panko  dice que o que no encuentra el id especifico o que journal no esta en forma persistente. Aunque entendería que journal esta en modo persistente por default en debian

 

No se si será lo mismo pero si se pone un id 0 no da error

* como el archivo es muy grande podes usar journalctl -b 0 --no-pager >journal.txt asi sale el contenido a un archivo de texto y resulta más simple de leer

Lo que he visto es que es log del arrancado del sistema. No sé si servirá...

Respecto a lo que me decías del paquete libacr38u, he estado trasteando esta mañana y me resulta necesario para el dnie. Sin él, el dispositivo no lo reconoce. Tendré que probar con el otro paquete que me indicas.

Se me ocurre que quizás sea un problema de configuración del archivo xfce4-session. No sé dónde se encuentra, pero, si me indicas dónde está (y lo consideras necesario), lo pude mirar y te lo puedo adjuntar, a ver si hay algo raro.

Buenas, a mí me ha ocurrido algo parecido, pero después de actualizar a Debian 9. Lo cierto es que no logré localizar la causa exacta, pero parece haberse arreglado después de desactivar varios servicios. El más sospechoso era el de "unattended-upgrades", dado que muchas veces bastaba con apagar el router para que finalizara la espera. No es el único programa relacionado con la conexión a internet que interrumpe el apagado/reinicio si se queda colgado, de hecho suelo usar el "Gestor de tareas" para comprobar que no hay ninguna aplicación díscola por ahí, caso de qbittorrent por ejemplo. La hipótesis que manejo es que deben de haber cambiado las políticas por defecto, y ahora una conexión establecida por internet puede ser que se considere prioritaria. Es sólo una intuición, pero habida cuenta que mucha gente usa las "nubes" y demás espacios de almacenamiento on-line, no sería tan raro. No es mi caso, :D, así que puedo machacar el router sin pena ninguna. Saludos cordiales.

no te ha salido porque no tienes el log persistente (el log es persistente si existe la carpeta /var/log/journal), pero lo que te comentan acerca de unattended-upgrades puede que sea el caso. Este servicio realiza actualizaciones de seguridad en el apagado del equipo, y es posible que sea el culpable.

  No hay bar que por bien no venga....

No, no tengo instalado unatended upgrades, por lo que no encuentro nada al respecto.

Por otra parte, respecto al log, ¿puedo crea esa carpeta manualmente, y enviar lo que me pedías?

Por probar otras cosas, me he creado otra cuenta en el equipo. Sin configurar nada en el panel nuevo, el botón de apagar sesión funciona perfectamente. ¿Puede ser una solución copiar la configuración de xfce config desde esta nueva cuenta a la que yo tengo creada? (sabiendo que me toca configurar todo de nuevo).

Puede ser y no puede ser. Copiar una config de un sitio a otro no siempre funciona, siempre puede quedarse algo colgado por ahí.

Por tu pregunta, si, si creas tu manualmente la carpeta /var/log/journal con permisos root:systemd-journal y luego metes a tu usuario en el grupo systemd-journal, podrás ver logs anteriores ya que se irán guardando ahí. Si por lo que sea tienes poco espacio, en la configuración de systemd puedes decirle cuanto quieres que guarde, un dia, dos días, tres días.... editando el archivo /etc/systemd/journald.conf descomentando y modificando las siguientes líneas

Storage=persistent
MaxRetentionSec=4d
MaxFileSec=2d

El primero indica que el log se guarde y no se borre al reiniciar/apagar

El segundo, el máximo de días que quieres guardar, en mi caso tengo 4d, que son cuatro días

El tercero, si mal no recuerdo, lo que se guarda por archivo, en este caso 2d que son dos días, luego crea otro. Esto para tí será transparente y lo verás como si hubiera solo un archivo.

 

Lo que si parece claro, es que tu usuario inicia un proceso o servicio que no inicia en uno nuevo, asi que has configurado tu algo que provoca eso. Con suerte se podrá descubrir que és y solucionarlo.

Efectivamente, Panko. Era un servicio que no funcionaba correctamente. Y ese servicio era...  el inicio rápido de LibreOffice, que se quedaba colgado. Al anular este inicio rápido, el sistema ha vuelta a la normalidad.

Buenas, hoy acabo de reiniciar (sin darme cuenta) con el qbittorrent a todo trapo, así que mi hipótesis del otro día parece que se ha desmontado sola, y que sólo afecta cuando se ha quedado colgado. Pulsar 7 veces seguidas Ctrl-Alt-Supr ayuda a acelerar el cierre, pero a veces ni con esas. Iba a editar mi comentario anterior pero se me pasó el plazo :). Por suerte desde que eliminé los servicios díscolos ya no he vuelto a tener problemas. Saludos cordiales.
